I am Baraa and I am launching this fundraising campaign to evacuate my cousin Muhammad from Gaza via the Rafah/Egypt crossing. I will be responsible for sending the money to Muhammad. The crossing currently requires a fee of $5,000 per person. This is the only way for him and his family to survive. Muhammad is my cousin, an automotive electrical engineer. He is one of the distinguished people. He finished his studies with an average of 87% and was working on developing himself because he was the only one who supported his family and he was responsible for it because his father was old and injured and could not work. He has endured 22 years of an endless blockade of Gaza, facing relentless aggression, constant bombing, and constant fear. He has personally survived more than six repeated attacks against the people of Gaza, most recently in 2022, and now the Gaza War in 2023. He, his father, mother, two brothers and three sisters have narrowly escaped death several times during this war. In this war, Muhammad lost his younger brother and son. . paternal aunt . Muhammad's father was seriously injured in the 2008 war, and he was also injured in this war. Gaza offers no refuge, leaving them, refugees of 1948, now facing displacement again in 2023.

Since this genocide broke out again in October 2023, 10 days after the war began, our house was bombed at 9 p.m., and civil defense and ambulance crews pulled us out from under the rubble of the house.

Fortunately for us, we only had injuries to our limbs, so we went to Nasser Hospital and received treatment there

After that, we moved to a shelter school for displaced people, and we left two months later, after the Israeli army raided the city of Khan Yunis. We left at 5am after a night of nothing but darkness and the sounds of explosions beside us. We saw death with my own eyes, and we emerged under a very frightening cover of fire, and saw bodies and body parts on our way. Then we reached the city of Rafah and set up a tent. We are facing major health problems, shortages of aid and food, and polluted water. We've been through a whole winter full of cold and darkness, and now we're approaching summer. The temperatures are almost killing us because of the nylon in the tent.

My goal in communication is to urgently raise funds to evacuate me and my family from Gaza before the Israeli occupation bombing kills us, and after I lose my job, my home, my future, my dreams and my ambitions. Please save the rest of our dreams. My mom and dad are already infected and need treatment. I lost my younger brother and my cousin when they went from Rafah to Khan Yunis to bring us the flour we left behind when we were starving. They risked their lives for us, which is a luxury now in Gaza while people have been reduced to pieces and ashes due to the large number of bombings, martyrs, wounded and destruction. Hospitals.
