**A Message from Luke & Valerie Lamer**

Hey everyone! We want to share a bit of our journey with you, and we understand that we’re asking a lot during a time when many have so little to share.

In 2011, without hesitation, Valerie embraced the role of a single mother to Alaina, the sweetest and smartest girl we know. As many are aware, Valerie did not give birth to Alaina. She would have loved to, but life worked out differently.

Luke and Valerie's story began in 2012 when we met and fell in love. Luke quickly became a proud part of Alaina's life. In 2017, we tied the knot, and we knew we wanted to grow our family together.

After starting Alaina's adoption journey in 2018, the process was finally completed in 2023, and we couldn’t be happier—she is officially ours! With the adoption chapter closed, we turned our hearts towards expanding our family through IVF, but we faced heartbreaking news: Valerie is unable to carry her own biological child but is hoping to find a donor so she can carry Luke's natural baby.

Now, we’re exploring donor options, but the costs are overwhelming. So, here we are, reaching out to our community for support. We truly appreciate any help you can offer as we chase our dream of welcoming another child into our family. Thank you for any part you are able to participate in our story!
