Hello!
We’re the Zans Family from Olathe, Kansas. Married since 2017, we've built a loving home together with our three cherished pets—Raven (our dog), Jade (our cat), and Casper (our rabbit).
From the beginning of our marriage, we’ve looked forward to growing our family. While that dream has never changed, the journey hasn’t been easy. We’ve faced years of emotional, physical, and financial challenges as we explored various paths to parenthood. Even through heartache and uncertainty, our desire to become parents has remained strong.
Over time, it’s become clear that adoption is where our hearts are being led. After two years of thoughtful planning, we’re officially a “live waiting family”—which means we could receive a call at any time.
However, adoption comes with significant financial hurdles. The costs—including legal and medical expenses, placement and agency fees, and other adoption-related costs—are substantial. While we’ve invested deeply on every level, we simply can’t do this alone.
