WE NEED YOUR HELP
♂️ Riding to Save St Helena Hospice — Land's End to John o' Groats
We're taking on the ultimate cycling challenge — pedalling from Land’s End to John o’ Groats — to raise urgently needed funds for St Helena Hospice, a beloved lifeline in our community that is now facing devastating cuts.
Following the government's recent PAYE changes, the impact on hospice funding has been immediate and brutal. St Helena is laying off staff, empty beds are becoming common, and if things don’t change fast, this vital service could vanish altogether.
That’s why we’ve decided to ride — myself Dave Chapman George Wright, Matt Inch, Bret Lord, Eugene, Shard, and Scot Cary — united by the belief that everyone deserves dignity, care, and compassion at the end of life.
Our Goal: £80,000
We’ve already started fundraising through events like:
A Clay Pigeon Shoot A stand at the local Farming Show
NES Solutions — especially Tony Irwin and Kian Potter — have gone above and beyond helping us organize, alongside generous support from the Dedham Vale Detectorists.
We’ve also had backing from Nigel Farage, whose support has amplified our message. But we’re not there yet — and we need your help.
Every pound counts. Whether it’s £5 or £500, your donation helps keep beds filled, nurses on shift, and families supported during the hardest moments of their lives.
Please help us protect St Helena Hospice. Your support means everything.
