WRBH Transmission Line Repair

Tax deductible
WRBH sustained catastrophic damage at our transmitter site in Chalmette because of a gunshot. The damage is severe, affecting our broadcast range significantly. The cost to repair the damage is $237,000, and we are only insured for $106,000. Please help us make up the difference and get back to full power, so that we can serve the population that depends on us for information.

More information about Radio for The Blind and Print Handicapped: At WRBH, our mission is to turn the printed word into the spoken word so that the blind and print handicapped receive the same ease of access to current information as their sighted peers. We are dedicated to helping the blind and print handicapped through our volunteer reading. Our 75+ volunteers make 24 hours of programming, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year, possible. WRBH is the only full time reading service on the FM dial in the country and one of only three in the world.
