If you know Libby, you know how fiercely she loved her husband. For more than 13 years, she stood beside him through every challenge, every setback, and every small victory. They fought together, loved each other deeply, and created the most beautiful life with their two girls.

On 18 July, Libby said goodbye to her soulmate.

In her own words, she wrote:

“There will never be enough words to comfort the hearts that are broken now you’re gone. But to feel pain is to know love. A love so deep and pure. A love that never faltered. A love that fought with you, hand in hand, every single day.”

Anyone who knows this family knows that kind of love was real. It was in the way they looked at each other, the way they laughed together, and the way they never stopped showing up for one another.

Right now, there’s nothing anyone can say or do to take away the heartbreak. But as a community, we can remind Libby and the girls that they don’t have to carry it alone.

We’ve created this fundraiser to give them the opportunity to take a little break together when they’re ready. A few days away to breathe, to be together, to make space for both tears and smiles, and to simply escape the heaviness that has become everyday life.

It won’t change what has happened. It won’t fill the space that’s been left behind. But we hope it gives them a chance to pause, wrap themselves in each other, and feel the love of everyone standing behind them.
