Support Mahmoud’s Family: Food, Water, Hope
0% complete
$5,370 raised of
185 donations
Hi, my name is Anne Devine and I’m from New Jersey. I started this fundraiser to support an 18-year-old named Mahmoud, who is currently displaced with his family in a refugee camp in Gaza.
I connected with Mahmoud through humanitarian channels, and we’ve been in daily contact ever since. He and his family are civilians caught in the middle of an unimaginable crisis. They’ve lost their home and have no stable access to food, clean water, or basic baby supplies. For weeks, they’ve been surviving mostly on lentil soup, but even that has become unaffordable.
Mahmoud didn’t reach out for himself. He reached out because he’s trying to care for his little brothers and sisters and keep his family from starving.
They receive just one delivery of clean drinking water and one small delivery of washing water each week. They rely on donations to purchase water, food, and hygiene items. Every dollar raised here will go directly toward helping Mahmoud keep his family safe, fed, and clean.
The funds will be sent through a trusted man in Mahmoud’s camp who owns a small money transfer shop and has a verified PayPal account. He’s well known in the community for helping families receive support from loved ones abroad. I’m in direct contact with both Mahmoud and the shop owner to make sure every donation gets into the right hands and is used for the right reasons.
I’ll be sharing updates, photos, and messages from Mahmoud so you can see the impact your support is having in real time.
This fundraiser is not political. It’s not connected to any group or organization. It’s simply about one family trying to survive — and about people like you choosing to help.
Thank you so much for reading, for sharing, and for caring.
With love,
Anne Devine
