Hi, I'm Ryan Nuñez, a close friend of the family of Jacob, a bright and special little boy who has been diagnosed with West Syndrome, a complex and difficult-to-control epileptic encephalopathy.

We are raising funds for a crucial genetic test called Exome Proband Only, which will help determine whether Jacob’s condition is genetic or hereditary. This information will guide his neuro-pediatrician in developing a more precise and personalized treatment plan.

The sample will be collected right here in the Dominican Republic, where the family lives, and then sent to the United States for analysis.
