There's no denying that 2020 has been a wild, and frankly difficult year. I debated whether or not to do another birthday month of charity, but came to the conclusion - IS THERE A BETTER TIME FOR CHARITY THAN NOW?!

So, I'm donating my birthday month once again to various charities around Los Angeles. One such charity that I really enjoyed helping last year and will be donating to again this year is PATH. PATH started by distributing food and clothing to people living on the streets. As homelessness continued to grow nationwide, research revealed that Housing First—a best practice model that first connects people to permanent housing and then focuses on stabilization through voluntary supportive services, proved more effective. Now, over thirty years later, PATH has more than 25 locations throughout California, provides services in more than 140 cities, and more than 1,000 units of permanent supportive housing completed or in the pipeline.

Across the state, PATH helps people find permanent housing and provide case management, medical and mental healthcare, benefits advocacy, employment training, and other services to help them maintain their homes stably. Since 2013, PATH has connected more than 7,500 people to permanent homes.

I'll once again use this GoFundMe to collect funds in order to buy as many toiletries as possible to hand out kits to the homeless.
