WQLS 90.5 FM is a volunteer base community radio station, located in Camden, Alabama.
Founded in 2013, WQLS 90.5 FM has lived by its motto, “The Peoples Station,” since its very first day on the air. WE ARE THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE.
WQLS broadcasts classic R&B and oldies, gospel, inspirational daily devotionals, jazz and southern soul blues. In addition to playing music, the radio station has community-based talk-shows; host fundraisers for special causes and events, and continues to be a vital source for getting important information to the community.
We are raising money for upgrades to help WQLS extend it's coverage area. WQLS is currently operating on a backup 1500 watts transmitter, two (2) of our four (4) antennas must be replaced and the tower must be extended another 140 feet.
