Most of you know last year Karl was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer.

As part of his treatment he had to travel to Western Park Hospital Monday to Friday for 7 consecutive weeks.

This is when we were told about Firefly… a charity with amazing volunteers who pick the patient up from their door and drive them to hospital. Returning them to their front door once their daily treatment is over…. This service was a godsend for us . Karl is now cancer free ❤️❤️and having felt slightly useless throughout his treatment and recovery i decided i wanted to try and give something back to this charity that took away so much stress (and arguments about my driving/parking / timekeeping lol)

So on Saturday 20th September with family and very special friends we will be taking part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge to raise money for Firefly.
