Rowens surgery

As many of you may know by now , our son Rowen has been suffering in pain for basically his entire almost 9 months on this earth. His mom and I pushed and pushed the DRs to figure out what Was going on , but they insisted he was fine. A perfectly healthy baby. Despite being made out to feel like we were losing our minds , we kept pushing (thanks to his extremely stubborn mom) and finally found a DR willing to actually look more into our baby boy and his symptoms. A MRI was finally done on his spine and brain and a diagnoses was made, FINALLY . One that covered every single symptom we continuously tried to tell his DRs he was experiencing. He was diagnosed with something called a Chiari Malformation. Basically , a piece of his brain is pushing into his spinal cavity and causing him to have severe headaches, sight issues , hearing issues , he stops breathing in his sleep AT LEAST once daily and had to cough and gag to regain breath , and the list of symptoms goes on. Overall , it’s been really hard for Row and really hard on us and everyone who loves our baby boy to watch. Thankfully, there is a surgery that will potentially Fix this completely, and it’s set to happen January 7th of 2020. They will be cutting  into his skull and attempting to shrink thepart of brain out of his spinal cavity and if not , removing it completely as it isn’t absolutely vital. This is TERRIFYING, considering he will only be 9 months at the time of a pretty serious surgery. 

Now onto why I’ve made this gofund me. 


This isn’t something I wanted to have to do . Anyone that knows Tiara and I , know we are extremely hard working people and we pride ourselves on being able to provide. Unfortunately, this has all come unexpectedly and all at once . We have had to miss so much work already in the past two months alone to travel to different hospitals, some out of state and some 6+ hours away requiring lots of gas and many hotel stays . Despite the strain it’s put on us , we have figured out ways to push and make it work. Unfortunately , we are now here with our backs against the wall and unable to find anymore tricks up our sleeves and feeling extremely hopeless and helpless. It’s been rough, especially having 2 other little (amazing) boys and this all happening right around the holidays . 


This is purely to help cover half of rent as well as a hotel + gas for our time during Rowens surgery. Anything truly helps us more than we can explain. 

We also greatly appreciate any prayers sent Rowens way during this . He is such a beautiful little human and the biggest blessing . We are looking forward to him being able to start his life pain free , finally.
