Your help is needed to soften the humanitarian crisis at the border for children and families seeking asylum from starvation, terror and violence.
100% of your contribution will be utilized by the Women of Wisdom team to obtain and provide the following for the thousands of asylum seekers “camping” with nothing--in open fields in the winter:
*Pay for a gently used van in Mexico for local volunteers to transport food, drinking water, and clothing on a daily basis (see photo of van)
*Basic food
*Drinking water
*Basic cleaning/hygiene supplies
*Diapers and wipes
*Formula
*Basic clothing
*Underwear
*Socks and shoes
*Basic medical supplies
*Large garbage bags
*Wheelbarrows
If you choose you may host your own clothing drive and ship boxes of supplies to the address below. Boxes of clothing must be well labelled on the outside:
*man, women, girl, boy (by gender)
*small, medium, large (by size)
In addition, there is no joy. The children are surrounded by sadness, fear and terror and they are cold, hungry and bored. There are no toys. It's a small thing comparatively, but we would like to see each little one get a yo yo or matchbox cars and the like. A toy that is small and portable and with imagination, hours of fun. Stuffed animals are not allowed because of hygiene concerns.

Small toys like yo yo's, playing cards, checkers/ soccer balls that can be easily carried but bring joy to children in the camps
If you are more comfortable doing your own shopping and have the items shipped, our team has made arrangements with local team volunteers to receive your packages from www.amazon.com.
Please feel free to do your shopping and have your donations sent directly to local volunteers at the address below--she will ensure items are transported straight to the camps for distribution:
