Hi, my name is Joey May and I have known Joey Davis for many years. He has always supported and gave back to our community, friends and family. He is a volunteer deputy who gives his time freely to support Jones County and its residents. He also volunteers with the local fire department. Joey Davis was shot in the line of duty Wednesday November 23, 2022 while on a domestic disturbance call for the Jones County Sheriffs Office. He has 6 gunshot wounds as a result. We would like to raise funds for loss wages for him and his wife as well as medical expenses. I would like to ask that we all come together financially and prayerfully to help this family as they have so many times helped us.
