World Tai Chi & Qi Gong Day, Supporting Cork Cancer Connect
So often it is the people behind the scenes, who make the greatest difference to someone's day. Cork Cancer Connect is a not for profit organisation with charitable status that co-ordinates transport to Cork hospitals for people attending Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy treatments, and cancer related appointments. Cancer Connect is a free, flexible and confidential service, that runs five days a week to Cork hospitals. The service is provided entirely by volunteer drivers, who give freely of their time & show nothing but kindness & care to their often, very worried, ill, anxious or frightened passengers.
This year, as we celebrate World Tai Chi/Qi Gong Day around the World, we would ask you to join us in helping to raise funds to make it possible for these amazing volunteers to continue this wonderful service.
On Saturday 26th April, we will meet at Myrtleville Beach, Cork to do some Tai Chi & to raise money in aid of Cork Cancer Connect CLG.
This is a fun event, hosted each year on the last Saturday in April & everyone is welcome to join, from children to teens to adults, parents & grandparents. Whether you're a complete beginner or have tried Tai Chi before, do come & join us for what has proved to be a very special event. We would love to see as many people as possible on the beach but if you can't be with us on the 26th, then please, please donate whatever you can through this go fund me page.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. Regardless of how big or small, every donation counts & will help to keep this amazing service going.
