Many around the world have a loved one touched by Dementia and Community Home Australia is proud to partner with Alzheimer's Indonesia, and Alzheimer's Disease International to hold the first World Dementia Walk in Bali, Indonesia.
Indonesia is one of over 40 countries participating in this global event to raise awareness of Dementia and raise much needed money to support charitable and grassroots community organisations delivering services and support to people living with dementia.
Our Dementia Walk Bali will raise money to directly support Alzheimer's Indonesia and Alzheimer's Disease International partners across South East Asia. Proudly supported by Community Home Australia, BESTMED, and NeuronsVR
Two walks will occur on 30 September 2025:
1. The full Dementia Walk will see our most adventurous walkers traverse a path from the majestic volcano Mt Agung to the beaches of Pantai Jasri some 25km east. Participants have the choice of walking, running or cycling.
2. A shorter 3km Walk will join our more adventurous participants for the final stages of the Dementia Walk and will involve participants from around the world and local villagers culminating in a free celebratory party hosted by Aashaya Jasri Resort. In recognition of the local villagers efforts Community Home Australia will be donating 200kg of rice to assist those who struggle to buy food.
As a registered charity and benevolent institution in Australia, all donations over $2 to Community Home Australia are tax deductible.
