A group of neighbors close to 2 Orchard Road have banded together to stand up against this effort to change our zoning laws. We recently had a neighborhood meeting and decided to seek outside legal counsel from a lawyer who specializes in land use and zone law litigation. The funds raised from this campaign will go toward his initial retainer fee of $5,000.00, plus any additional legal fees that arise out of the November 30th town meeting. We are raising these funds on behalf of a concerned group of neighbors that do not want to see our zoning laws changed, but instead want to see an effective town plan to address the housing needs.
Please understand, an approval of this application will lead to potentially hundreds of multi-family housing units popping up in all neighborhood zones within Woodbridge.
So please join us in supporting the residents of Woodbridge as we seek sensible and practical solutions for the multi-family and affordable housing needs in our great town. The approval of this application by our Planning and Zoning board will have long lasting impacts to our town. There is strength in numbers and right now we need to show there are many residents that are opposed to this zoning law change.
Thank you very much!
