We are SO excited to be writing this! We feel that when God puts something on your heart, the only option is to take action! For years now, God has placed the call of adoption on our hearts. We believe that God calls ALL Christians to care for widows and orphans because we are adopted through Christ. (James 1:26-27, Isaiah 1:17) Many of you know Lauren and what a beautiful picture of God’s love her adoption story has been in our family. We are super excited to be starting this journey again! This time, we will be working with a Christian agency towards domestic adoption.
We are in the beginning stages of our adoption journey. At this time, we are saving and raising money during the homestudy process. Unfortunately, the process of adoption requires that we step out in faith and be stretched in ways that are out of our comfort zone. The reality is, there is a substantial amount of money needed to bring our child home. It seems taboo to talk about but, the typical cost for domestic adoption is between $30-40,000. Would you be willing to enter into this journey with us? Whether you feel led to help us financially or through your prayers and encouragement, it all means the world to us!
There are a few different ways that you can help financially with our adoption costs: We have this online fundraiser; you can mail us a check; or, you can buy one of our Christmas ornaments. No matter how you donate, your money will be used solely for the purpose of bringing our baby home.
We believe that it takes a village, and we are so thankful that you are a part of ours. We know that God will do great things through His people for His purpose. We can’t thank you enough for your love for our family.
