As all of you know, the Wood Ranch Men's Club started a go fund me campaign to benefit the employees of Wood Ranch Golf Club who were furloughed when the course was forced to close during the outbreak of Covid-19. Andy Clark, Tournament Co-Chair of the Men's Club was the individual who actually opened the Go Fund Me Campaign.
We're happy to report that a $500 check or Venmo was sent to 55 employees and $250 was sent to three part time employees on Friday, April 10th. Total disbursement was $28,500. The balance of the funds remaining will be disbursed in the form of a gift card by the end of the month, divided equally between all 58 employees, at which time we will close the campaign.
I wanted to take a second to thank each and every donor on behalf of the staff at Wood Ranch. It's impossible for me to share all the notes I received but they have been wonderful. The gratitude from the staff is off the charts and what we did collectively to help them was amazing. Whether you realize it or not, you made a difference in a lot of lives by donating to this cause. For that, I thank you.
