We are a group of neighbors in South Minneapolis raising funds to purchase firewood for unhoused relatives at Nenookaasi Healing Camp.

Between yurts, other structures, and prayer fires, Nenookaasi has ~25 fires going at any given time. The camp needs a steady supply of firewood to keep people warm through the winter months. $800 purchases a large dump truck of firewood, which will last a few cold days and nights. Our goal of $15,000 should stock camp with enough wood to last through the next couple months of winter.

Everyone deserves a warm place to take shelter, most especially Indigenous neighbors facing the cruelty of being unhoused on their own homelands. If you've been blessed with the safety and security of stable housing, please consider sharing those blessings.
