Women’s Support Fund- Mná Feasa

Hi, my name is Hannah, and I am currently embarking on a Master's Degree in Sustainability in Business at Munster Technology College.

As I've learned about Social Sustainability and what community truly means—especially for women—I've felt compelled to start this fundraiser.

In Ireland, 35% of women—more than one in three—have experienced psychological, physical, and/or sexual abuse from an intimate partner (EU gender-based violence survey, Fundamental Rights Agency, 2024).

This statistic is a driving force behind my decision to raise funds for Cork Anti-Poverty Resource Network Limited, specifically the 'Mná Feasa' project. The name, which originates from Irish mythology, translates to "Wise Women."

Founded in 1991 by women who themselves have experienced domestic violence and abuse, Mná Feasa is a community-based project offering one-on-one support, accompaniment, helplines, support groups, and school programs to help women in need.

100% of the funds raised will go directly to this incredible charity. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference.

Thank you so much for considering a contribution to this cause that is so close to my heart. Your support means the world to me.
