Empowering Women at Matturi & Wilberforce Community Centre

The Matturi and Wilberforce Community Women's Empowerment Project in Sierra Leone is now entering the second phase of its fundraising campaign. This initiative aims to support the creation of a women’s sewing machine club, following the generous donation of a sewing machine by Judy Sagar from Beverley Town in Yorkshire, England. Her kind gesture has inspired tremendous interest among our female service users.

We are now extending our GoFundMe target to raise an additional £450. This will enable us to purchase more sewing machines and help cover the cost of shipping them to Sierra Leone.
