We are a group of Iranian diaspora who want to stand and show solidarity with women's fight for freedom in Iran. We are raising funds to purchase billboard ads in the Bay Area to make their voices heard. The goals for the ads are:
- Create greater awareness for non-Iranians about what is going on with women’s oppression in Iran.
- Bring broader awareness to our local and national politicians that the Iranian community needs help. We need them to visibly support the movement with action.
Billboard costs vary from location to location. The minimum price we have identified is $7,000 for one in the Bay Area. This is why we chose $7,000 as our minimum goal.
If we raise more than the target amount, all proceeds will be spent to purchase more billboards in other cities, such as Washington DC, with the hope that all members of congress will see it every day.
This is a grassroots effort sponsored by the community to stand with the people of Iran. Your support is our unity.

Who is organizing this campaign?
We are a group of Bay Area Iranian-American citizens who are deeply concerned about the current events in Iran. We want to do our part to bring awareness to the issue. Our team is comprised of several ordinary Persian families who work in various industries and care about the future of Iran and all its children. Given the regime's history of brutality and to protect the safety of ourselves and our loved ones in Iran, we decided it was prudent to keep our identities confidential at this time. We thank you in advance for your trust and support in us.
How are the funds spent?
100% of the funds will be spent on billboard ads. All of the work is done voluntarily. We are currently evaluating our options, and will provide an update as soon as one is chosen.
What happens when raised funds exceed the goal?
Every dollar raised will be spent on billboard ads. Billboard prices are based on their locations, the number of expected impressions, and how long they run. More funds will mean ads running at more prominent locations for longer.
Why can the funds not be sent to Iran?
There are many legal and logistical obstacles for any entity intending to transfer funds to Iran. That is above and beyond the scope of our team. 100% of the funds will be spent in the USA.
