Hi, my name is David Guerin, and I’m supporting the Women in Conservation Forum, taking place on 2 March 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya.

The Women in Conservation Forum is a one-day, non-profit, volunteer-led event focused on supporting and elevating women working in conservation, community leadership, and environmental practice across Africa and the Global South. The Forum is being organised by my daughter, Macayle Guerin, as part of the Global Conservation Tech & Drone Forum 2026.

The venue and core event costs have already been covered through direct sponsorship by my non-profit, Nature Drones CIC. This fundraiser is focused on two practical needs that directly affect access and participation:

• Catering for participants (lunch and tea breaks)

• One-day livestreaming so schools and universities can join remotely

Catering costs are a real barrier for students, early-career practitioners, and community conservation workers. Livestreaming allows the Forum to reach many more young women who cannot travel to Nairobi.

All funds raised through this campaign will be used specifically for catering and livestreaming for the Women in Conservation Forum. No funds are used for salaries, organiser travel, or profit.
