The response to the recent video we shared, featuring incredible schoolgirls has been overwhelming.
It’s made one thing clear — women and girls in our communities want and need, more space to be heard, supported, and understood.
So, we’re taking the next step.
What we’re doing.
This November, in partnership with This Life Collective, we’re planning a Women & Girls Conference in the North East, as part of White Ribbon.
This event will bring together women, young people, and professionals to:
- Have honest, open conversations.
- Raise awareness around domestic abuse and healthy relationships.
- Provide support, guidance, and real pathways forward.
This isn’t just an event — it’s about creating something that can genuinely make a difference.

At Impact Family Services, we work every day with women, children, and families affected by domestic abuse.
We see first-hand:
- The lasting impact it has on confidence, safety, and wellbeing.
- How early support can change the direction of someone’s life.
- How important it is for young people to understand healthy relationships.
This conference is about prevention, support, and giving people a voice — before situations escalate.
