Older black women are proud. It’s very rare that they’ll beg anyone for help, even if they’re holding on to their life by a thread. Knowing this strong, hardworking mother of 4, is in danger of losing her home breaks my heart.
The moment we hit our goal this money will be released to her. The mother’s home is going in foreclosure. She is a social worker whom I’ve seen work tirelessly over the years to provide for her family and her community. During COVID-19 I’ve seen her wash clothes for her community, give out mask, fix supper plates, give rides and comfort grieving mothers. I thought it would be really dope and beautiful to finally give back to her in her time of true need.
I know a lot of people are going through everywhere but I’m asking you to help one less person lose their home in New Orleans. I’m trying to raise this money in a week for her because she only has two, and I can’t do it alone. I need my community. She needs it too. 1 dollar or 5..everything counts and remember to pass it on. Pass it on always
