Wolfreton Camps International Expedition: Peru 2026
Donation protected
We are students from Wolfreton School who will be travelling to Peru in the summer of 2026 with Camps International to carry out voluntary work to improve lives of local people.
There is a lack of education in the rural areas and poor growing conditions for crops, which results in severe malnutrition in the highlands. 33% of under 15s are employed, rather than in school.
During the expedition we will be contributing to ongoing community projects run by Camps International which improve education, housing, healthcare, sanitation, food and water security, and environmental protection.
We will be on expedition for 4 weeks and will work on community projects for 3 out of 4 weeks.
For one week, we will be completing a once-in-a-lifetime trek to the ancient ruins Machu Picchu along the Salkantay Trail on a 5 day trek.
We are on a fundraising journey to make this opportunity become a reality. All money raised will be shared between the students partaking in the expedition to help them pay for this exciting opportunity.
Please support our students to raise money to go on this life-changing trip so they can make a positive contribution to the local communities of Peru. Every donation, no matter how small helps!
