WNC - Rescue Ridgeview Project

I hope this message finds you well. As we approach the season of giving, I want to share a cause that's incredibly close to my heart and ask for your support in making a real difference in the lives of families who are still struggling in the aftermath of the devastating hurricane in North Carolina.

Many of you may be aware that communities across the state were hit hard, and while some have started to rebuild, there are still families living in tents, with little to no furniture or the basic comforts that we take for granted. One such community in dire need is Ridgeview. We are Abbey + Coleman, local Granville residents. Since a week after the devastation, we have been working tirelessly to bring hope and dignity back to these families by delivering needed supplies to the area. We are now taking on the mission of refurnishing 35 homes that have been rebuilt due to flooring, and turning empty, damaged houses into real homes. But we can't do it alone.

We are planning trips down to Ridgeview from right after Christmas through February, and we are hoping to bring much-needed furniture, supplies, and, most importantly, hope to the families who are struggling. We are working on a very tight timeline, but with your help, we can make a lasting impact.

Here's how you can help:

Donate Money: Every dollar counts, and your donation will directly go toward purchasing furniture, essential items, and materials to help turn these houses into homes. No amount is too small.

Donate Furniture: If you have gently used furniture or household items that you no longer need, they can make a huge difference for a family that has lost everything. Things like couches, chairs, tables, dressers and beds can provide much-needed comfort and stability. You can also purchase furniture at thrift stores or Facebook Marketplace.

Spread the Word: Sometimes the biggest impact comes from simply telling others about this cause. Please share this email with your network, and help us rally as many people as we can to offer support.

While many of us are tucked away safely for the winter, there are still families who are struggling to survive, and we have an incredible opportunity to help them rebuild their lives. With our trips just around the corner, time is of the essence.
