As a committee at Wallasey Manor Tennis Club, we are trying to raise money to help make improvements to our wonderful club.

Ideally we would very much like to add floodlights to an extra court, complete some improvements to outside space at the club as well as make improvements to our function room in terms of decoration, lighting and furniture.

Fundraising is a huge part of our community and something that is massively important in helping ensure our club moves forwards.

Our big fundraiser this calendar year is our "Dawn 'til Dusk" Tennis Challenge. This is being held on Saturday 11th July 2026 and the challenge is:

From 4.08am (dawn) until 10.27pm (dusk) our courts are played on non-stop.

We are encouraging all members and their guests to join in the fun and activities throughout the day, but at no point will our courts sleep! We are ensuring that a minimum of 2 courts will be utilised all day and during peak times, all 6 are being used.

The day that WMTC does not sleep!

From our youngest players at the age of 3, to our elder members 75+, they will all be involved, undoubtedly some will spend hours and hours on court during the day. There will be a variety of different activities on court throughout the day alongside some more relaxed, recreational play.

Tiredness won't be a word used on the day, we power on and move, let the day (and into night!) light up purple and green!
