Hi everyone, I’m Randi. Forgive me please, as I write this, I am still very shaken up. I was involved in an almost fatal car accident and thankfully, still have my life and my children still have their mother.

I am a devoted single mom of 5, my kid’s are 12,11,8,7 and 2. My now 2 year old was born a micro-preemie at 1 lb 2 oz. My motherhood journey is truly a remarkable story. 3 of my children play AAU basketball and I don’t miss a game or practice. I work, I am a volunteer basketball coach for my sons’ team- I don’t miss a show, play, or holiday performance. Our lives are very busy and if you’re a parent, you know OUR JOBS NEVER STOP.

Unfortunately, my car was totaled over the weekend. I still have 4 kids who have to get to school daily, practices, travel games, a toddler starting daycare and all the other things that matter. I am responsible for everything. From bills to homework to dinner every night. Thus far, I’ve managed to take great care of my family and I’m very proud of that.

However, right now we need all the help we can get because this situation has completely overwhelmed me. We need a new truck immediately, amongst other big and small expenses, the list goes on. I’ve always taken my job as a parent very seriously. In a split second, our world has been thrown for a loop. I appreciate any and everything received because I truly am in a place of just being grateful to be alive.
