Dylan's Eagle Project-Tree Planting & Irrigation
Donation protected
Hello and thank you for coming to my page,
My name is Dylan Hudson, and I am a Scout in Troop 609 out of Newhall California. I started scouting when I was in First Grade. Now 12 years later, I am currently a Life Scout working on achieving the Rank of Eagle Scout. To achieve this rank, I must complete my Eagle Scout Project.
I will be planting 12 California Pepper trees and install irrigation benefiting Valley Trails Ranch in Castaic, Ca. Your generous donation will not only help me complete my Eagle Project but also play a significant role in mitigating climate change as well as help our local ecosystem.
If you have been to Valley Trails, you know how hot it can get. Temperatures can reach 110 degrees in direct sunlight. My project will offer shading for all those who visit helping decrease the chance of heat exhaustion/stroke while outside.
When I was in 1st grade, my school had to have work done that prevented us from starting school for almost two months. Valley Trails offered a place for 300 kids to go and be able to attend school. I remember to this day how hot it got and all of us trying to find shade where we could.
My Eagle Scout Project is planned for November 18-19th.
Thank you for considering my request and your contribution will make a meaning difference. I am truly grateful for your generosity.
If interested, I am offering the opportunity to sponsor a tree for a minimum of $120 donation. This will include a plaque posted with whatever information you feel comfortable providing.
Again, any donations of any amount is and will be greatly appreciated!
Yours In Scouting,
Dylan Hudson
