Several years ago I prayed and asked God to show me my purpose because I wanted to make an impact in the Kingdom no matter how big or small. It was during this time God had me to revisit that young, insecure, unsure of herself, girl that was once me and to minister to her. To ask her what some of her fears were? What were some of the things she wish she had learned about herself? What she thought her purpose was? What are some life tools she wish she had had that may have better equipped her to navigate through the tough teenage and young adult years? From that experience, the three things that kept coming up was butterflies, diamonds and pearls. All of these things go through the harshest of processes but in the end turn out to be some of God’s most beautiful creations. That was representative of those years to me. I told God, if I can just impact ONE young girl by giving her tools that I wish I had gotten early in life that may have impacted a lot of costly decisions I made it would all be worth it. Of the three, I settled on PEARLS because of what they represent to me....WISDOM as well as I wanted to honor my late Grandmother, Dorothy Mae McClarty, who had such a major impact on my life. She NEVER went anywhere without her pearls and thus influenced my love for pearls. So came my program EVERY GIRL NEEDS HER P.E.A.R.L.S. ....Purpose, Encouragement, Acceptance, Respect, Love and Support. I’ve tried to start this program many times but it wasn’t my season until now. I had my first graduation on August 18, 2019 with three young ladies that God put on my heart and will be holding my second graduation with two young ladies on December 29, 2019 where they are presented with a strand of pearls to remind them of the lessons learned as well as to pass what they have learned on to another young lady.  When I tell y’all God blew my socks off with the way He orchestrated this thing! I don’t have time to tell it all but let me just say He did exceedingly, abundantly MORE than I could’ve ever thought of. It just confirmed to me that I am EXACTLY where God wants me to be and EVERYTHING I’ve gone through was preparing me for this VERY moment. With that being said, it takes money to minister and I have no problem with pouring my own money into the girls' because they are worth it but I also had to humble myself and ask for help because I just can't do it all. If God places on your heart to sow into this ministry, ANY donation however big or small will help in purchasing supplies,  paying for the graduation and of course the strands of pearls.  With sincerest thanks!43833492_1575388162204138_r.jpeg43833492_1575388173223987_r.jpeg43833492_1575388194135069_r.jpeg43833492_1575388224736399_r.jpeg43833492_1575388226180840_r.jpeg43833492_1575388238220541_r.jpeg43833492_1575388265702194_r.jpeg43833492_157538828842005_r.jpeg43833492_1575388287275861_r.jpeg43833492_1575388326493980_r.jpeg43833492_1575388357550277_r.jpeg43833492_1575388425234698_r.jpeg
