Hi, my name is Jen, and I’m reaching out for support for my dad, Rhomulo, who is in critical condition in the Philippines due to liver failure. My brother, who is caring for him there, is facing the heartbreaking decision of discharging him from the hospital because we can no longer afford the mounting medical bills.

After just four nights of treatment, including tests and medications, the total costs have reached 180,000 pesos (around $4,400 CAD). As his condition requires ongoing care, we expect more expenses for future exams, procedures and medications.
