Hello everyone, the apartment building where our mother, Ofelia, lives unfortunately caught on fire. We are incredibly grateful that our mother is safe after this devastating event. While we are relieved beyond words that she was not injured, the fire destroyed her home and everything inside, leaving her with nothing and in urgent need of a new place to live.

In an instant, she lost her clothing, furniture, personal belongings, important documents, and the everyday essentials that made her house a home. At this point for her, starting over from scratch is both emotionally and financially overwhelming. Our priority now is helping her secure a safe, stable new home and replace the basic necessities she needs to move forward.

We are asking for support to help cover the costs of housing, clothing, toiletries, medications, and essential household items so she can begin to rebuild her life with comfort and dignity.

El edificio de apartamentos donde vive nuestra madre, Ofelia, lamentablemente se incendió. Estamos increíblemente agradecidos de que nuestra madre esté a salvo después de este evento tan devastador. Aunque sentimos un gran alivio de que no haya resultado herida, el incendio destruyó su hogar y todo lo que había dentro, dejándola sin nada y con la necesidad urgente de encontrar un nuevo lugar donde vivir.

En este momento de su vida, comenzar de nuevo desde cero es emocional y económicamente abrumador. Nuestra prioridad ahora es ayudarla a asegurar un hogar seguro y estable, y reemplazar las necesidades básicas que requiere para seguir adelante.
