I woke up to a phone call Monday morning at 12:30am from Dallas saying, "Mama, something is wrong with Kyzer. Please meet me at the hospital." I could hear Kyzer struggling to breathe. Within just a couple of hours, the decision was made to life flight Kyzer to a facility with a PICU in Macon, GA. Kyzer’s condition is life-threatening. Kyzer has the rhinovirus, respiratory distress, pneumonia, and an additional secondary bacteria. He is sedated. He was admitted with a collapsed lung and intermittent tachycardia. His O2 levels keep dropping dangerously low anytime they try to wean him off 100% oxygen. Dallas and Trace are both at the hospital with him, but as you know, the bills don’t care what’s going on, so they are still coming. We would like to take the pressure off Dallas and Trace as much as we can so they can concentrate on supporting each other and Kyzer as well as balancing the fact that they have Nora at home here in Albany, who will be 2 in October. Family is helping to take care of her during this period. We need a miracle for this little man.
