Wistow War Mural

Wistow Parish Council have commissions once upon a wall to create a beautiful war mural inside the bus shelter to show our support to all past, present and future service personnel. It is also the 80th Anniversary of D-Day and the mural will incorporate this.

The designer is looking to paint a poppy field with the fen sunset together with the Tommy statue. There will also be a D-Day piece incorporated in the mural.

Wistow Parish Council has donated 10% of the funds and we would love as much support from local residents to make this mural become a reality for us all to enjoy for years to come.

If we exceed the goal of £400, we will look to supply the village with extra material to support the D-Day anniversary on 6th June 2024.
