Installing a defibrillator is only the beginning. Keeping it ready for an emergency takes ongoing care, community support and funding.
Wisemans Ferry is lucky enough to have more the 20 community access defibrillators!
Community Defib Project is raising funds to support the long-term future of community defibrillators in the Wisemans Ferry area - helping protect the people who live, work and visit here.
Your donation will help fund:
- Replacement pads and batteries when they expire or are used in an emergency.
- Cabinet maintenance, repairs and replacement when needed.
- Ongoing maintenance monitoring, reminders and support for local volunteers.
- The coordination and systems needed to keep local defibrillators supported over time.
CDP is currently run entirely by volunteers. Their time and commitment make this work possible, but replacement equipment, freight and ongoing support still carry costs.
Funds raised through this campaign will be allocated to supporting the Community Defib Project in the Wisemans Ferry area, including the ongoing support costs associated with its local defibrillators.
Our aim is to build a sustainable local fund so we can plan ahead for maintenance and replacement needs, rather than relying on urgent fundraising when something is due.
