Winter Weather Crisis - Epic Uri Storm in Houston

Hello, my name is Kelechi Ahaghotu-Hyppolite, and my family and I are located in Houston, Texas. As many of you may know, the severe winter storm, Uri, has hit the Houston area in Texas. I created this GoFundMe page on behalf of myself and my sister.
I never expected things to take a turn for the worst. My sister and I recently both moved into new dwellings and have sustained damages to our homes. We have been without electricity for three days now, in which there is no source of heating and light. There is water damage to the garage, and the frigid cold weather has caused the water pipes to burst in my home.
At present, my sister has not even been able to regain access to her home or reach her private medical practice here in Katy, TX. We have been stranded in the house with three (3) small children, ages 4, 6, and 9.
Due to no electricity and water, we cannot prepare proper nutritional meals for the children. During this time, any parent can only imagine that trying to keep the children calm is the greatest challenge. They have spent most of their time wrapped in blankets during the day and night, as it's frigid with no heating.
Lastly, the roads are iced awful here, and I am still recovering from having major surgery. We are very much a loving and giving family and usually assist our families and communities. A few years ago, we survived Hurricane Harvey and did several local drives for our Richmond communities and surrounding areas for women, children, and men. At this time, we ask you to assist us in any way possible. Thank you in advance for any assistance, and I can assure you that all funds will be used to restore the damage to our homes and immediate disaster necessities.
