With winter approaching very rapidly, so does the cold and rain.

The Gaza strip is suffering very much because  of the hard economic conditions as a result of the siege imposed on Gaza for many years. 2020 is considered the worst  year, in which poverty increased to 80% among the people,  while the unemployment rate reach to 75%. The situation has become more dire as a result of the spread of the Corona Virus among the people of Gaza, especially the daily workers who lost their jobs  and can't provide basic needs such as food for their kids, and it’s only getting worse.

Alweaam Charitable Society  is working hard to launch a campaign “ Warming their winter”   that  targets not less than 1000 families. We want to secure the basic needs of winter such as warm clothes, blankets,  heaters, and cover their houses with nylon to keep the rain from falling through. 

We are making this fundraiser in the memory of my brother Adam, who we lost recently and very suddenly to COVID -19. This is a strong reminder that life is too short, and we only take with us our good deeds. When we make life easier on others, Allah, SWT Will make it easy for us on the day of judgment. When we are questioned by Allah SWT about how we spent our wealth, May we all be proud and happy to show him our book of good deeds in our right hands. Most importantly, may Allah  be pleased with us on the day that we meet him!
