As the winter months approach here in Austin, I’ve been increasingly aware of the struggles faced by people who are temporarily unhomed. The colder weather brings new challenges, and I often see neighbors in need of warmth and comfort as they navigate the season. It’s inspired me to take action and try to make a difference, even in a small way.

I’m raising funds to create help bags filled with essentials like hats, socks, chapstick, hand cream, and gloves. These simple items can make a big difference for someone facing the cold, and I want to do my part to help as many people as possible this winter. While I haven’t organized something like this before, I’m committed to learning and doing what I can. I’m also open to suggestions or partnerships for distributing the bags—whether that’s through local shelters, community centers, or directly to people in need.
