Winter clothing appeal

We are St. Elizabeth's, a volunteer group based in Birmingham, UK, formed in honour of St. Elizabeth the New-Martyr: grand-daughter of Queen Victoria I and a saint venerated in the Orthodox Church, known for her kindness towards the poor and those in need.

The Met Office has issued severe weather warnings in the West Midlands and around the UK due to the recent cold snap. Rough sleepers and those in unstable living situations are especially vulnerable and likely to have insufficient cold weather gear, or none at all. This includes basic warm clothing such as hats, gloves, and thick socks.

We are asking for donations to buy these essential items, which we will distribute to those in need in Birmingham City Center.
