Winston Ferber’s Feel Better Fund

This is a love story that all started on a beautiful fall morning on October 17th 2015. On that day, I became the mother to Sir Winston Theodore Ferber. Those who know me, know that Winston is not a d-o-g (I refuse to even spell it), Winston is my baby boy and the love of my life! However, this story isn't mine, this is his story.

On Monday September 25th, Winston was rushed to the emergency hospital due to internal bleeding from a mass that was attached to his spleen. Winston was able to receive surgery that removed the spleen and the mass successfully. However, Winston is still currently receiving assistance getting back to his healthy self while stealing the hearts of anyone and everyone in the ICU. With lots of fluids, x-rays, sonograms, blood tests, and the kitchen sink, my baby boy is off to a speedy and healthy recovery.

Unfortunately, Winston's medical expenses far surpassed what I could afford (especially since Winston is a stay-at-home son). Thanks to credit cards and Winston's Auntie, these funds were able to be temporally funded. Winston will still continue his successful career as a stay-at-home-son, while this compassionate mommy will work to pay off his medical expenses. Though this is Winston's story, I am beyond what any words could ever describe in the amount of appreciation I have for everyone who had a part in saving my baby boys life. For those who have stayed by my side, held my hand, wiped my tears, and kept me positive, thank you.
