We are the dedicated community committee behind Winsford Community Pride, and my name is Clare Ankers, proud Chair of the committee.

This GoFundMe has been created to help us raise vital funds to organise this year’s Winsford Community Pride — a vibrant, "inclusive" celebration that brings people together, champions diversity, and fills our town with colour, joy, and unity.

For the past 3 years, this incredible event was organised and supported by the local council. However, this year the responsibility has been handed over to us — a passionate group of local volunteers who care deeply about keeping Pride alive and thriving in our community. While we are honoured to take this on, we are starting from the ground up… with zero funds right now.

Winsford Community Pride has grown into one of the most popular and well-loved events in the town, drawing in people from all walks of life. It’s more than just a celebration — it’s a safe space, for all, a statement of acceptance for all, and a day where everyone can truly be themselves without fear or judgement. Losing it simply isn’t an option.

That’s why we need your help.
