Winlock Community Flag Project
Donation protected
Our small town of Winlock, Washington, is filled with pride and a deep sense of community. This past Fourth of July, a group of volunteers known as the Winlock Patriotic Citizens placed 20 American flags along the entrance to our town. The response from our neighbors was overwhelming—people felt a renewed sense of unity and patriotism, and many shared how much it meant to see our community come together in such a visible way.
Inspired by this reaction, we want to expand our efforts and add even more flags to our town’s entrances. The funds raised will go directly toward purchasing over 20 additional flags and the necessary hardware to display them safely and proudly. Our goal is to make these displays a tradition, with flags flying from sun up to dusk on the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Presidents Day, and Memorial Day each year.
This project is organized by the Winlock Patriotic Citizens, a group of volunteers who find joy in celebrating our country and bringing our community together. Every donation will help us continue this tradition and ensure that the spirit of patriotism remains strong in Winlock for years to come.
