I have had a few people ask how they can help, so here it is. I want to make two things clear:

1. This fundraiser has no association with Keller’s Cause. Donations here are for Wink, my personal dog. Any funds raised over what we need for surgery will be donated to Keller’s Cause.

2. This fundraiser is not the deciding factor on whether or not Wink will have surgery.

Last month, Wink was diagnosed with Mast Cell Sarcoma at an Opthamology appointment for what we thought was simply allergies.

After consulting with oncology, we and our vets came to the conclusion that Wink’s best chance for a good long term prognosis is to remove his only visual eye. Opthamology agreed it would be a good idea to remove his other eye preemptively, since it’s non-functional anyway and it will be cheaper/safer to do at the same time.

Surgery is scheduled for September 14, 2022, pending results from a spleen cytology - which, if this comes back with high grade mast cells, will delay enucleation until further treatment for the cancer is completed. We were quoted $845 for the cytology/aspiration alone.

Any contribution, no matter how small, is appreciated.
