Wing Walk Challenge 2025

Hi, my name is Terry and I'm going to strap myself to the top of a plane for a flight with AeroSuperbatics!

Nervous?

Oh yes! The idea of being flown on the outside of a plane at 120mph certainly isn't a sensible thing to do!

Why do it?

I want to raise awareness of the amazing gift of life created by organ donation after my daughter was saved by a heart transplant when she was just two years old.

Prior to that moment Bea had lived in hospital for over a year, kept alive by a mechanical heart outside of her body. You can imagine how traumatic that time was, wondering each day if that would be her last.

Throughout that time we received amazing support from The Charlie & Carter Foundation who support parents of seriously ill children. We have also been inspired by Red Sky Foundation and the support they provide to help poorly hearts in so many ways and make a huge difference to many, many families.

I'd like to repay their kindness and on June 10th 2025 will be wing walking with a professional aerobatics team on the top wing of a vintage bi-plane.

Funds will be split evenly between The Charlie & Carter Foundation and Red Sky Foundation!

During our time in hospital we were honoured to meet a wonderful young lad called Thomas. Tragically, Thomas lost his fight for life. Since his loss his teenage sister Leia set up Leia's Gift in Memory of Our Thomas, providing bereavement support to the siblings of children that have passed away.

Leia's Aunty Helen will be joining me on this adventure on a plane of her own to raise funds for Leia's Gift (separate fundraising page)
