Wilmington Starbucks Union Solidarity Fund

Wilmington Democratic Socialists of America are supporting the ongoing union drive at the Middle Sound Loop Starbucks store, the first Starbucks location in the Wilmington area to file a petition to unionize (but hopefully not the last!). The solidarity fund will be used to purchase supplies such as posters, signs, and other media to post inside the store to inform workers of their labor rights but also to share with the general public to raise awareness of the union campaign and to provide local workers with information about their labor rights and about unionizing their own workplaces.

Solidarity funds will not be used as strike funds nor will they be conferred upon any individuals in the union. They will be used to support the Middle Sound Loop Starbucks workers and any future Starbucks stores in the area that act to unionize. If we work together in struggle against our bosses, we can win a better future for all!
