Hi, my name is Jan and I am fundraising to buy additional plants and props needed to bring for my beautiful borders show garden design 'Willow moments and memories 'to life. Through its provision, I hope to raise awareness and funds for Willow.

Willow are a national charity founded by Bob Wilson OBE and his late wife Megs in memory of their daughter Anna who died from a rare form of cancer at just 31yrs.

Willow organise special days and experiences for seriously ill young adults aged 16-40 to help create precious moments and lasting memories and to shine a light of hope into individuals lives and their families.

Whilst I completely understand that not everyone is able to donate, I would be incredibly grateful for even a very small amount of just one or two pounds. This would really help towards purchasing a plant or two and collectively enable me to purchase the numbers required

Every plant has been chosen for its symbolism and words which beneficiaries often associate with their special day ( hope, empowered, calm, precious, inspired, love, grateful). A focal Willow tree along with living willow also features strongly across the design. A ' river of everlasting memories' central to the border. This showcases pink, purple, lilac, cream and lime coloured annuals and perennials with stepping stones across to a calm oasis with a pretty bench.

Some of the flowers are very kindly being grown by individuals from the #gardengram community. All the flowers which have been grown or purchased will then be sold at the end of the show with all funds (minus any costs) going directly to Willow.

Any surplus funds from this fundraiser will also be directly donated to Willow.

As a cancer survivor living with the ongoing impact of a cancer diagnosis, I am heavily reliant on the support of family and friends in day to day life and am extremely grateful for all the kindness and support they continue to show me enabling me to take this forward.
