Thanksgiving is right around the corner and it’s time to kick off our 4th Annual Friends and Family M.E.N.D Turkey Drive!!!.
MEND is a local food bank inthe heart of the San Fernando Valley. MEND’s mission is to meet immediate needs of individuals and families and increase their access to opportunities that strengthen their capacity to thrive. With all the budget cuts California has seen over the last few years, it has left MEND in need of resources to help support our local community.
Every year, families in the San Fernando Valley are unable to put to together a Holiday meal due to the level of poverty we are seeing in our community these days. If you are able to help, and can do one good deed this year, please help us raise our goal with ANY donations you can give.
Last year, in 2018, we raised enough funds to donate 500 turkeys and 500 chickens to families in need. This year, 2019, we are campaigning to raise enough funds to purchase 500+ Turkeys! We only have a two and a half week window to meet our goal but even if we don't, any to help is appreciated!
Friday, November the 22th 2019 is the last day to Donate! We need enough time for the funds to clear and be able to withdraw, purchase, and donate in a timely manner.
