William Sinclair Reading Space

Dear Friends and Family of William & Edrina Sinclair

I have been a close friend of William and Edrina Sinclair for many years.  I attended their wedding, and have watched as they raised four wonderful, kind, considerate children who themselves are just beginning to do the same and raise their own families (and dogs).  The Sinclair kids are doing a wonderful job as parents having learned from the best.  William and Edrina have enjoyed the many blessings they have had in their families, extended families and friends.  As you know they have also seen their fair share of struggles and certainly, William's health is one of the very hardest struggles they have had to deal with.  It's very difficult to watch them go through this and especially in this current time that adds so much complexity to an already massive struggle.

I've wanted to do more.  I think we all have.  Giving love, prayers, thoughts, and a shoulder are all good things. But what more?

So I reached out to William and Edrina a few weeks ago.  I wanted to somehow enable William to contribute to something near to his heart and something that he could leave as a legacy of some kind.  After speaking to them, as well as to Maria, their oldest daughter, we approached the Estevan Family Resource Centre. William was a board member back when the centre began and Maria is currently a board member.  The good people there, along with Maria, have come up with what we are calling currently "The William Sinclair Reading Space".  With William's love for the centre and his love of books, setting aside a space where people can go to enjoy good books, with their kids, and for themselves, seemed like the perfect tribute to William.  With the funding that the centre receives from us, they can use this money to dedicate this space, and provide resources to the Estevan community that is in much need of something like this.
